For anyone who is not already aware of us, we are a well established local branch of the RSPB and have been operating in the area for 39 years. The group meets on the second Tuesday in the month from September to May inclusive, for interesting and informative illustrated talks. We are a friendly and active local group, with day walks to RSPB nature reserves and other places of wildlife interest. Our main aims are to raise money for RSPB projects on reserves and support the RSPB in all it's aims.
Our programme is always very entertaining and informative with professional speakers and superb colour slides or Powerpoint presentations on all aspects of natural history including birds, wildlife and travel at home and abroad.
Additionally there are outings to RSPB and other nature reserves plus social events like our annual Quiz.
We welcome everyone who is interested in birds and wildlife, you do not have to be an RSPB member and we are not all experts, so please come along and join us.
